Stephanie Ann Grisham is the chief of staff for the first lady Melania Trump. She is an American White House official who has served as the 30th White House press secretary and also as a White House communications director. Being a Press Secretary, she is the first White House press secretary in American history to hold no press conferences instead of opting for interviews on conservative news.
Early life
It has been found that Stephanie Grisham was born on July 23, 1976, in either Colorado. She is the second child among three children of Dave and Elizabeth Ann Allen. With her mother, she moved to East Wenatchee, Washington where she did her schooling. She graduated from Eastmont High School in 1994. Then they moved to Nebraska where she is known as Ann Schroder. Later on, Grisham attended Colorado Mesa University but she failed to earn any degree. She did not graduate from there. But in 1997 she began voting in Arizona as a registered Democrat.
Career life
Grisham started her career as a spokeswoman for AAA Arizona in 2007. But she was fired within a year after being accused of cheating on expense reports. Subsequently, she started a job at an ad agency ‘Mindspace’ where she got fired again being accused of over plagiarism charges. Her plagiarism charges were copying AAA material verbatim into her client’s web page.
After that, Grisham worked as a spokeswoman for the Arizona Charter Schools Association from 2008 to 2010. Working as a spokeswoman, she met Tom Horne, Arizona’s superintendent of public schools. She served as his spokeswoman from 2011 to 2014 after he was elected as Arizona attorney general. Following in 2012, she also worked for Mitt Romney’s 2012 presidential campaign. In the 2014 GOP primary, where Republican Mark Brnovich defeated Horne, she worked as a spokesperson for the Arizona House of Representatives.
Later on, in September 2015, Grisham worked as a press coordinator for Pope Francis’s visit to Philadelphia as an independent contractor.
In August 2015, she started working as a press aide to Donald Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign. She aided in arranging his campaign stops in Phoenix and around the state and region. Until May 2016, Grisham was on state payroll when she took an unpaid leave to work on Trump’s campaign from the Arizona House of Representatives. After Trump’s victory, she was named as special operations and also served on Trump’s transition team. Also, after Trump’s January 2017 inauguration, she was named a deputy press secretary for Sean Spicer in the West Wing of the White House.
Grisham replaced Sarah Sanders as White House press secretary and White House communications director in July 2019. Her appointment was announced by Melania Trump via Twitter on June 25, 2019. The annual report to Congress on White House Office Personnel listed her as an assistant to the president and Deputy Chief of Staff for Communications for the First Lady which was published on June 28, 2019. The Washington Examiner published an opinion piece which was written by her and deputy Hogan Gidley entitled as “The Washington Post’s lost summer” on September 5, 2019.

Personal life
She married Danny Don Marries in Nevada on April 7, 1997. First, they met at Mesa State College in Grand Junction, Colorado. They had a baby son named Kurtis Marries in June 1998. Her husband Marries joined KOLD-TV as a news anchor in Tucson, Arizona on their son’s birthday. But unfortunately, being together they could not go along with each other. Hence, they divorced in 2004. Following in 2004, she again married to Todd Grisham, a KOLD sportscaster. But this relationship also had an ending in 2006. But this couple is also blessed with a son named Jake in 2008. Grisham is currently a single mother of two sons.
