Melania Trump Biography: Third wife of Donald Trump and Former Model

On 26th April 1970, Melania Trump was born. Melania is an American businessman and 2016 U.S. presidential candidate Donald Trump’s wife. A former model is a Melania Trump who was born in Slovenia. In 2001, she became a permanent resident and in 2006, a citizen of United States.

Early life and Education

In Novo Mesto of Southeastern Slovenia which is the part of Yugoslavia where Melania Trump was born to Viktor Knavs and Amalija. For a state-owned vehicle manufacturer, her father Viktor managed car and motorcycle dealerships. A member of the Slovenian Communist Party was her father who came from Radeče’s the nearby town. Raka is the village from where her mother Amalija came from. At the children’s clothing manufacturer Jutranjka, she was a patternmaker in Sevnica. From her father’s previous relationship, she has an older half-brother, to whom she has never met and Melania has a full sibling sister, Ines.

Slovenia’s Lower Sava Valley of Sevnica where she grew up in a concrete housing block in a modest apartment. Near Sevnica, her family moved where there was a two-story house when she was a teenager and a high-rise apartment in Ljubljana was used.

The Secondary School of Design and Photography was attended by Trump in Ljubljana and before dropping out she studied for one year at the University of Ljubljana. Five languages are spoken by her such as English, native Slovenian, German, Serbian, and French.

Immigration to the United States

In 1996, on an H-1B visa, Trump came to the United States which was indicated by her. For an H-1B visa, The Washington Post was told that his agency sponsored Trump by an agent for a modeling agency. In 2001, she became a permanent resident and in 2006, a citizen of United States.

Melania’s account of immigration repute may have involved inconsistencies, it was reported in August 2016. In the 2000 Sports interpreted that she was featured as a bikini model in the Swimsuit Issue. Melania was affiliated with Donald Trump’s Trump Model Management and Irene Marie Management Group as a model.

In an advertisement for Aflac insurance where she came into view in the 2000s, in which the Aflac mascot and Melania, at the time by comedian Gilbert Gottfried, a duck, voiced via a Frankenstein-like mad experiment exchanged personalities.

Marriage to Donald Trump

In September 1998, at a Fashion Week party, Melania met Donald Trump in New York City. At that time Donald Trump was married to but separated from his second wife Marla Maples. With Celina Midelfart, Donald attended the event and initially Melania refused to give Donald her phone number. After a 1999,   attention was gained by their relationship, on The Howard Stern Show interview. While Donald campaigned for Reform Party presidential nomination for that year, Melania came into view with Donald in 2000. The Apprentice, Donald’s business-oriented reality television show launched in 2004 which added additional publicity gain to their relationship.

In 2004, Melania and Donald engaged and on 22nd January, 2005, Donald and Melania got married in Palm Beach at The Episcopal Church of Bethesda-by-the-Sea of Florida. Their reception was followed at Donald’s Mar-a-Lago estate in the ballroom. Celebrities such as Matt Lauer, Shaquille O’Neal, Rudy Giuliani, Heidi Klum, Star Jones, P. Diddy, Barbara Walters, Katie Couric, Conrad Black, Regis Philbin, Simon Cowell, then-Senator Hillary Clinton, former president Bill Clinton and Kelly Ripa.

Melania gave birth to a baby boy in 2006 named as Barron William Trump in which first name was suggested by Donald and middle name by Melania. His nick name is “Mini Donald”.

2016 presidential campaign

Melania was asked about her husband Donald Trump’s presidential campaign in November 2015, she told that she motivated him because she knows that what Donald can do and will do for America and also said that Donald loves the American people and wants to help them. In 1999, Melania was asked by The New York Times what would be her role if Donald become president, she replied that she would be formal like Jackie Kennedy or Betty Ford and would assist him.

An attack ad was published in March 2016 by an anti-Donald Trump PAC featuring a nude photo of Melania as part of a British GQ magazine photoshoot which was published in 2000. Melania handcuffed to a briefcase is shown by the photograph, lying on a Donald Trump’s private jet fur blanket aboard. Trump’s official website was diverted to Trump.com. On Twitter, she declared that her site was expired and did not exactly reflect her current professional interests business.

On the first day of the 2016 Republican National Convention, Melania gave a speech on 18th July 2016. The speech given her carried a paragraph that was closely known to a speech given at the 2008 Democratic National Convention by Michelle Obama. Melania attorneys filed scandal lawsuits in opposition to the Daily Mail, British tabloid and a Maryland political blogger, Webster Tarpley. From other sources both had published proclamations that in the 1990s in Italy, Melania worked as an escort for a gentlemen’s club. On August 22, Tarpley published an apology and retraction.
