US President Donald Trump reacted quickly to reports of the terrorist attack in London calling for “smart, vigilant and tough” and impose a “veto of travel” or immigration.
“We need to be smart, vigilant and tough. We need the courts to give us back our rights. We need a travel veto as an additional level of security!” Trump said on Twitter.
We need to be smart, vigilant and tough. We need the courts to give us back our rights. We need the Travel Ban as an extra level of safety!

Trump made the remarks shortly before British PM Theresa May called the “terrible” incidents that occurred in central London in which there is more than one dead and are treated as possible acts of “terrorism”
The request for a veto comes after federal courts have twice suspended executive orders to temporarily ban the entry of nationals from several Muslim countries, something the White House has denied qualifying as a veto.
Again, Trump contradicts his communications team by using the word “veto,” whose use had served to reinforce the arguments of detractors of the measure to be considered discriminatory by religion.
In a later tweet Trump offered his aid to the United Kingdom by an attack that has characteristics of past terrorist attacks in Europe and is given almost two weeks after the bomb attack in a concert in Manchester in which 23 people died, including the terrorist.
Whatever the United States can do to help out in London and the U. K., we will be there – WE ARE WITH YOU. GOD BLESS!
