On Tuesday night, the US president-elect informed the American voters that the US Intelligence is going to delay his briefing on Russian hacking. He tweeted: The “Intelligence” briefing on so-called “Russian hacking” was delayed until Friday, perhaps more time needed to build a case. Very strange!

Although Donald Trump seems concerned about the ongoing issue of Russians hacking into Democrat Party, the officials are indifferent to pass the information to him yet. Trump even accused the intelligence of taking more time to build up a case.

Interestingly, on the same note, the US officials are completely unaware about any delays in the briefing. Moreover, according to the source who spoke on condition of anonymity, Trump’s tweet has left the intelligence department confused.

The issue becomes more confusing when we go a little back in time. On New Year’s Eve, Trump condemned the idea of Russian intervention in the US elections, hacking into Democratic Party computers. He said, “I just want them to be sure, because it’s a pretty serious charge. And if you look at the weapons of mass destruction, that was a disaster, and they were wrong.” Moreover, he also praised Russian President Vladimir Putin for delaying any action against the US sanctions against Russian diplomats. Now this, which directly accuses the US intelligence.

Donald Trump also said, “And I know a lot about hacking. And hacking is a very hard thing to prove. So it could be somebody else. And I also know things that other people don’t know, and so they cannot be sure of the situation. You’ll find out on Tuesday or Wednesday.” Yesterday, he announced a press conference on January 11.

Similarly, Donald Trump’s spokesman Sean Spicer cleared out Trump Transition Team’s stance by stating there is zero evidence that Russia influenced the election. He also revealed Trump’s routine of daily national security briefings and concluded that none of those sensitive matters about Russia are conclusive yet. In contrast to Trump, US Intelligence is not refraining any time soon from accusing Russia.
