Keith Schiller is the current Director of Oval Office Operations. Previously, Schiller was a New York-based police detective and a personal bodyguard of billionaire businessman and President Donald Trump.
Early Life and Education
Keith Schiller was born in The Bronx. Raised in New York state, Schiller went to New Paltz High School for early education. At high school, Schiller was an outstanding athlete. Hence, completing high school, he joined the Navy training.
Personal Life
Keith Schiller is supposedly a family man who lives in Trump Tower. His mother died in 1975, hence leaving him with his father. In 2007, Schiller lost his father too.
Keith is also a husband and father, he’s been married to Lena Schiller since October 9, 1983. He is the father of Natalie Schiller, who graduated from St. Vincent Ferrer High School last May.
Keith and his wife are currently reside in Forrest Hill, NY. He is originally from the Bronx and Lena is from Highland, NY. His wife of 32-years is a registered nurse who works at Westchester Medical Center in the Cardio Thoracic ICU since 1990.
Career
As a US Navy, Keith served in Norfolk, Virginia and USS Plymouth Rock for four years. He left the service in 1982 and returned to New York jobless and in search of a long-term career. Then, Schiller started working as a counselor in New York State Division for Youth. Alongside, he also did the night duties as a Plattekill Police.
Leaving counseling and local police job, Keith Schiller joined the New York Police Department. Starting in a lower position, he gradually ascended to the post of a patrol officer and then an undercover policeman.
After three months working as an undercover policeman, Schiller left New York Police Department and joined the Street Narcotics Enforcement Unit. Schiller always liked working in the field under Lieutenant David E. Chong. Keith said, “I was the rammer. To me, it was an exciting career. … I couldn’t get enough of it.” In the same way, Chong was also highly impressed by Keith’s work. He praised, “I would have kept Keith with me forever if I could have. He always had my back. I was always very comfortable knowing he was around.”
After leaving the police department, Schiller started working as a private security agent in 1999. Initially, he was just a temporary employee. Soon, the athletic and experienced man worked his way to becoming a bodyguard. In 2005, Keith was promoted to head of Trump’s security. So far, the former police detective has served Donald Trump for around 17 years.
Keith Schiller came into major highlight after Donald Trump announced his bid for the 2016 Presidential Election. As the campaign picked up its pace, Keith came into a significant controversy after escorting out a journalist out of a press conference. Likewise, Keith reportedly showed his aggressiveness on protesters outside Trump Tower.
