Dr. Stephen Hahn is a popular American physician serving as the 24th Commissioner of Food and Drugs. He is also well-known as a former radiation oncologist. Previously, he serviced as the Chief Medical Executive in the MD Anderson Cancer Center.
Early Life:
Stephen Hahn was born as Stephen Michael Hahn on January 22, 1960, in the USA and has spent his entire life there. In 1980, Stephen Hahn completed his BA degree in Biology from Rice University. Later, in 1984, he completed his MD degree from Temple University.
Career:
After successfully completing his medical graduation, Hahn started working as a radiation oncologist in Santa Rosa, California. From 1989 until 1995, he provided his services at the National Cancer Institute (NCI). During this time, he also received his commander rank from the US Health Service Commissioned Corps. From 1993 till 1999, Hahn served as the chief at NCI’s Prostate Cancer Clinic. Meanwhile in 1996, he got a chance to serve as radiation as well as a medical oncologist at the University of Pennsylvania. He also served as a researcher there. During this time period, he also worked in the Department Chair of Penn Henry Podcast.
Later, in 2015, he was appointed as the new Division Head of radiation oncology at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. He has still been serving as the Chief Medical Executive of the MD Anderson Cancer Center since 2018. On December 17, 2019, he was appointed the 24th Commissioner of Food and Drugs by President Donald Trump. Today, he remains an important physician who has been serving Trump’s administration to prevent the coronavirus pandemic. Since March 1, 2020, Hahn is added to the White House Coronavirus Taskforce.

Stephen Hein is married to Lota Leigh Morning for more than thirty years now. They now share a total number of four children. However, he has not disclosed their names.
