As First Lady of Arizona, Angela Ducey’s community works and philanthropy have climbed a new level. She became a board member at Catholic Charities Community Services and has contributed her valuable time and expertise in supporting foster children, homeless people, veterans and other underprivileged groups in Arizona. Likewise, Ducey served in the notMYkid Auxiliary Board, providing administration and government support to help the organization reach its mission of empowering youth, families, and communities. Moreover, Ducey was on the board of directors of Mother’s Grace supporting the likes of herself – mothers.
As a First Lady, Angela Ducey was honorably appointed by the court as the special advocate for foster children. She is also the chair of Governor’s Council on Child and Family Empowerment since 2015. As chair, Ducey recently began blogging to highlight the organization’s progress and recognize any other organizations that have been working actively for the welfare of children and family. Besides, during Governor Doug’s inaugural, Angela was appointed as one of the members in the inaugural committee.
