Angela Ducey is the incumbent First Lady of Arizona who assumed office on January 5, 2015 as her husband, Doug Ducey, succeeded Jan Brewer as Governor of Arizona. Wife Angela had been crucial in supporting Doug’s 2014 Gubernatorial Election Campaign.
Early Life and Education
Angela Ducey is not a very well-known figure in the US media. Hence, most of her childhood life and education remains covert. However, Ducey, a native Arizonian, went to Arizona State University for her undergraduate studies.

Graduating from Arizona State University, Angela Ducey moved between several companies as a sales management specialist. Most of the time, she was involved with food service industries. Since then, she has majorly been involved in non-profitable works such as charity organizations, trustees, and programs.
As First Lady of Arizona, Angela Ducey’s community works and philanthropy have climbed a new level. She became a board member at Catholic Charities Community Services and has contributed her valuable time and expertise in supporting foster children, homeless people, veterans and other underprivileged groups in Arizona. Likewise, Ducey served in the notMYkid Auxiliary Board, providing administration and government support to help the organization reach its mission of empowering youth, families, and communities. Moreover, Ducey was on the board of directors of Mother’s Grace supporting the likes of herself – mothers.
As a First Lady, Angela Ducey was honorably appointed by the court as the special advocate for foster children. She is also the chair of Governor’s Council on Child and Family Empowerment since 2015. As chair, Ducey recently began blogging to highlight the organization’s progress and recognize any other organizations that have been working actively for the welfare of children and family. Besides, during Governor Doug’s inaugural, Angela was appointed as one of the members in the inaugural committee.
As Catholic, Angela was involved with her husband Doug Ducey in welcoming Pope Francis to the White House alongside President Barrack Obama. The Ducey couple has been open about their faith and religious alliance.
