Allen Weisselberg was born into a Jewish family in Brooklyn, New York. He grew up in Brownsville and graduated high school in 1965. Following Donald Trump’s win in the 2016 Presidential Election, Weisselberg was promoted to be one of the trustees of the Trump Organization along with Eric Trump and Donald Trump Jr. Eric Trump was later demoted to the post of the advisor which left Eric and Weisselberg as the sole trustees of the multi-billion dollar company. It was reported that only Eric and Allen are aware of Trump Trust’s finances in detail besides Donald Trump. Besides it, Weisselberg had arranged for the Trump Organization to pay Michael Cohen a $35,000 monthly retainer fee after the lawyer had paid adult film star Stormy Daniels hush money before the 2016 Presidential Elections. He was later subpoenaed to testify in Cohen’s criminal probe in front of a grand jury in United States District Court for the Southern District of New York.
