It was a rough weekend for the President-elect. He received several criticisms – of course, one of them from the US media and the other from actress Meryl Streep. Hence, Trump again used his social media missile to thrash the comments.

Must See: Meryl Streep is $65 million worth

Remember Trump’s great wall? He is at it again. He wrote on Twitter: Dishonest media says Mexico won’t be paying for the wall if they pay a little later so the wall can be built more quickly. Media is fake!

Another tweet was rather friendly, although it was also meant to make himself look better. It said: Rupert Murdoch is a great guy who likes me much better as a very successful candidate than he ever did as a very successful developer!

So, these were two of the hundreds of times Trump thrashed media by calling it dishonest.

Trump responded to Meryl

Finally, Trump responded to Meryl Streep’s award acceptance speech as well. He wrote on Facebook and Twitter: Meryl Streep, one of the most over-rated actresses in Hollywood, doesn’t know me but attacked last night at the Golden Globes. She is a Hillary flunky who lost big.

And then another one:

The final one

The same post was also found on his Facebook Profile.

This harsh and not-so-presidential response comes after Meryl Streep smashed Trump’s acts without even calling out his name.

Her speech at Golden Globe Awards: “There was one performance this year that stunned me — it sank its hooks in my heart. Not because it was good; there was nothing good about it. But it was effective and it did its job. It made its intended audience laugh, and show their teeth.

It was that moment when the person asking to sit in the most respected seat in our country imitated a disabled reporter. It kind of broke my heart when I saw it, and I still can’t get it out of my head, because it wasn’t in a movie. It was real life.” [Extracted from The New York Times]

Interestingly, Trump made no response to the comments made by comedian Jimmy Fallon and actor Hugh Laurie.
