Early Life and Education
Joe Heck was born on October 30, 1961, and raised in Pennsylvania. In 1979, he graduated from Wallenpaupack space high school. In 1992, he enraptured to Clark County, Nevada. He attained a Masters of Strategic Studies degree from the U.S. Army War faculty in 2006.
Heck served in the U.S Army Reserve in 1991 and was advanced to a one-star general once he was named a general officer in 2014. Heck narrowly lost re-election in 2008 to Democrat Shirley Breeden by a margin of forty-seventh to forty-sixth and a plurality of 765 votes, Philosopher T. Rex Hagan received four, 754 votes (8%).He worked on the Natural Resources, Human Resources and Education, the Commerce and Labor Committees. He was conjointly the vice-chair of the Transportation and Homeland Security Committee. In July 2015, Heck declared that he would ensure the U.S. Senate seat left open as a result of Harry Reid’s retirement.
