The hilarious and, at times, a sensitive feud between the US President-elect Donald Trump and former Fox News host Megyn Kelly dates back to 2015. Since then, the pair has been captured in numerous controversies.
The starting of Donald Trump and Megyn Kelly Feud
The feud between these two famous Americans started on August 6, 2015 at the Republican primary debate. During the questionnaire, Kelly directed her words towards Trump,“You’ve called women you don’t like fat pigs, dogs, slobs and disgusting animals.”

While Trump couldn’t respond immediately, he tweeted an aggressive answer: Wow, @megynkelly really bombed tonight. People are going wild on twitter! Funny to watch.

In a CNN interview, Donald Trump abused Megyn Kelly by alluding to menstruation. He said, “There was blood coming out of her eyes, blood coming out of her wherever.”
This comment wasn’t appreciated by many people. Hence, it later became an argument against Trump’s respect for women.
Interview with Charlie Rose
While Megyn was in an interview with Charlie Rose, she picked on Trump’s attitude from the debate. She said, “He was obviously upset. That’s fine. He’s running for president, it’s not a fun business, there’s going to be ups and downs, and I know he considered that a down. So we just wanted to forge forward and try to put it behind us, not pour any more fuel on that fire.” However, Kelly clarified that she didn’t want to engage in any kind of feud.
At the same time, Trump poked Megyn with his social media weapon. It said:
Isn't it terrible that @megynkelly used a poll not used before (I.B.D.) when I was down, but refuses to use it now when I am up?

As a response, Kelly came back with a factual post showing the polls among the Republican candidates.

May Interview
Amid all this hassle, Fox News arranged Kelly’s interview with the President-elect. According to Kelly, she had to wait for some time before reaching out to Trump. However, he was always engaged in criticizing Fox News or Megyn Kelly herself. Hence, it was hard for Kelly and her team to summon an interview.
In the interview, both the parties seemed to have parted away from their running hostility. Donald Trump even said that he understood Megyn Kelly’s stand to ask the question about women, although he consistently deemed it as unfair.

Following the feud between the two, the hostility still remains. Kelly has talked about Trump on several other occasions. Once, she articulately said, “If somebody asks you if you’re an idiot and you know you’re a Rhodes scholar with a Mensa membership, you don’t get upset.” This statement attacked Trump’s frequent public bragging.
From Trump’s side as well, he has commented on Kelly several times. However, the fact that she is a woman aroused him not to go harsh on her, as he was already captivated on other women abuse scandals.
As Kelly moves to NBC News with a new lucrative contract, the world expects to see more on the Trump-Kelly issue in foreseeing days.
