Florida school massacre survivor David Hogg called on advertisers and sponsors to boycott Ingraham’s Fox News Show, following the Fox News Presenter Laura Ingraham’s mocking tweet against him. David launched a boycott campaign in April 2018 against her after she tweeted Hogg had been rejected by 4 colleges. Several advertisers pull off from the show including IAC, Trip Advisor, Hulu, Nestle, Wayfair, AT and T, Liberty Mutual and more. Ingraham apologized for her tweets but David is not settled down as he states “She should resign as she is only trying to divert the real issue”. Ingraham took a week-long vacation from the show and spent time with her family after the incident. However, Fox News reports it does not matter much for them after they lose advertisers. Laura Anne Ingraham was born to parents Anne Caroline and James Fedrick Ingraham III a World War II veteran on June 19, 1963, in Glastonbury, Connecticut, the US. Laura went to Dartmouth College and earned Bachelor’s in Arts Degree in 1985. At the time, she was working as an editor on the independent student newspaper called The Dartmouth Review. She got Juris Doctor degree from University of Virginia school of law in 1991. While she was studying she also worked as a speechwriter for the Domestic Policy Advisor and later worked as an editor for a publication concerning Alumni of Princeton named as The Prospect.

After her university, she was working as an attorney and law clerk. She made an appearance on the cover of The New York Times Magazine in 1995. During the late 90’s appeared as a host for the MSNBC’S Watch it. In April 2001, she started hosting into radio with The Laura Ingraham show. Laura Ingraham got engaged to a businessman James V. Reyes in 2005. The couple were expected to get married but canceled following Laura’s diagnosis of breast cancer.
