Ken Mckay is currently known as senior adviser of Donald Trump 2016 presidential Campaign. Mckay is hired by Alan Cobb to the post who is the director of the Trump Campaign. He has graduated in 2006, from Roger Williams School of Law with a J.D. Before that she went to High Point University (B.S. biology).
Career
His career started to take a flight when he joined, Rhode Island native serving as would-be Rhode Island Governor to Donald Carcieri campaign as a manager. When the Carcieri won elections, he became chief of staff of Carcieri. He was appointed as chief of staff of Republican National Committee ( RNC) in 2009 and resigned in 2010. In 2010 he joined Rick Scott and served as Governor of Florida.
In 2011, getting success, he worked as chairman of the Republican Party of Rhode Island. In the same year, he started to work on Sen. Ron Johnson’s (R-Wis) Senate campaign as a senior advisor. He became a political director for the Republican Governors Association in the year 2013. In 2014 he joined former RNC colleague Gail Gitch, as a senior advisor for Bobby Jindal’s 2016 presidential campaign. Finally, in the year 2016, he was hired as senior adviser of Donald Trump 2016 presidential Campaign by Alan Cobb.
Controversy
He was on headlines when he has reigned Republican National Committee. He was actually forced to reign with an allegation of involvement in entertaining of young donor young donors at a Hollywood bondage strip club, spending nearly $2000. In this regard when Providence Phoenix said, there was no involvement of Ken. He was in Rhode Island at the time. It’s just a struggle of power within the National Committee. He got a clean cheat from this controversy.
