According to Wall Street Journal, President-elect Donald Trump is working to restructure the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, following several accusations against Russia for hacking into Democrat Party’s computers.
As per the Trump aides, the decision comes after the President-elect’s belief that the Office has been too politicized and polarized. Trump team said, “The view from the Trump team is the intelligence world has become completely politicized. They all need to be slimmed down. The focus will be on restructuring the agencies and how they interact.”

Until now, the spy agency hasn’t responded. Likewise, CIA, which will likely be affected as well, made no comments. Reportedly, Trump team is looking to cut staffs in CIA headquarter and send more people in the field.
How might it have come about?
On Tuesday night, the US president-elect informed the Americans that the US Intelligence is going to delay his briefing on Russian hacking. He tweeted: The “Intelligence” briefing on so-called “Russian hacking” was delayed until Friday, perhaps more time needed to build a case. Very strange!

Although Donald Trump seemed concerned about the ongoing issue of Russians hacking into Democrat Party, the officials were indifferent to pass the information to him yet. Trump even accused the intelligence of taking more time to build up a case.
However, interestingly, on the same note, the US officials were completely unaware about any delays in the briefing. Moreover, according to the source who spoke on condition of anonymity, Trump’s tweet had left the intelligence department confused.
On the same day, Trump sent out several other tweets which were directed towards the US Intelligence.
This one undermined the US Intelligence’s IT defense.
Somebody hacked the DNC but why did they not have "hacking defense" like the RNC has and why have they not responded to the terrible……

This one poked Hillary Clinton ‘H’ and media as well.
things they did and said (like giving the questions to the debate to H). A total double standard! Media, as usual, gave them a pass.

Since the news about revamping the intelligence agency comes a day after the incident, it’s plausible to speculate that Trump’s stance was largely affected by it.
