The Early Life of Ann Coulter
She was born on December 8, 1961, in New York City. Her father John Vincent Coulter was an Irish –German FBI agent who was a native of Albany. Her mother Nell Husbands Coulter is a native of Padchuan, Kentucky. The family, later on, moved to New Canaan, Connecticut. She spent her childhood there along with two older brothers Jame and John.
Ann graduated from Canaan high school in 1980. she went to Cornell University where she founded Cornell’s conservative and Libertarian student publication ‘The Cornell Review’. Coulter graduated with honors from Cornell in 1984 with an undergraduate degree in history. She then went to the University of Michigan Law School from where she earned her degree in law. She was trained at the National Journalism Centre and also served as an editor of the Michigan LawReview.

Ann started her career as a law clerk for Pasco Bowman II the U.S Court of appeals. After the Republican party came to power she was appointed to work for the U.S Senate Judiciary Committee in 1994. She handled crime and immigration issues as she worked under Senator Spencer Abraham. In 1996 she was made the legal correspondent of the network MSNBC. during the memorial of the late Pamela, Harrison Ann had made an insensitive comment due to which she was fired from the post.
In 1998 Ann published her first book ‘High Crimes and Misdemeanors: The Case against Bill Clinton’ in which she talked about various controversies related to bill Clinton including his womanizing habits. Ann joined George magazine in 1999 and became a regular columnist and wrote exclusively weekly columns for the conservative magazine ‘Human Events’.
