The 2016 US Presidential Democratic nominee and former secretary of state Hillary Clinton will attend Donald Trump’s inauguration on January 20, 2016. She’ll be accompanied by her husband and former president Bill Clinton.

Not only the Clintons, the Bush family will also attend the oath-taking ceremony in White House. The former Republican president George W. Bush and his wife Laura Bush will appear in DC. The Bush family stated, “We are pleased to be able to witness the peaceful transfer of power — a hallmark of American democracy — and swearing-in of President Trump and Vice President Pence.”

While George W Bush is looking forward to the inauguration, his father George Herbert Walker Bush said that he won’t be attending the ceremony, primarily due to health concerns. Similarly, the Republican candidate Jeb Bush is still hostile against Trump – the family didn’t even vote for him.

Lastly, the 92-year-old former president Jimmy Carter might be attending the ceremony with his wife Barbara.

By now, the inaugural team must have been all set up with their plans. Last month, the team revealed that they were planning to arrange a welcome rally, a parade and two inaugural balls. Other arrangements are yet to be exposed to the world. Most importantly, Radio City Rockettes is going to perform at the ceremony. However, one of the group members Rockette Phoebe Pearl is upset about having to perform for Trump. She took her frustration to social media: The women I work with are intelligent and are full of love and the decision of performing for a man that stands for everything we’re against is appalling.

Here’s a tweet from Patton Oswalt:

Who attended President Obama’s Inaugural?

In Obama’s start in 2008, former president Bill Clinton, George H.W. Bush and Jimmy Carter attended the ceremony. Subsequently, in 2012, only Clinton and Carter appeared for the inaugural.

Interestingly, incumbent President compulsorily attends the presidential inauguration.
